Whoopi Goldberg has announced her own medical marijuana company with products designed specifically for women.

According to USA Today, Goldberg’s “Whoopi & Maya” company, for which she will serve as chairwoman, has received financial backing from various friends and family members.

“I want to go nice and slow with this,” Goldberg told the publication. “I don’t want this to be a joke to people. It’s not a joke to women.”

The company will offer four products, including a balm, a tincture, sipping chocolate and a bath soak, all infused with marijuana to reduce pain and menstrual cramps.

The products will only be available in California to people with medical marijuana cards.

USA Today reports that the marijuana industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, with an annual increase of 31 percent and a national market value of $5.7 billion.

Goldberg has been open about using marijuana and has talked about legalizing it on “The View,” which she co-hosts.

“This is a nice quiet way that I can be part of this,” Goldberg said. “It had to help people if I were going to be involved.”
