The NFL has released their domestic violence policy in relation to a player getting suspended for anger, aggression and violence. Most people do not know the differences between aggressive, passive aggressive and assertive. The players can become more and more aggressive after headshots, blows and other trauma. In addition, with a large bank account, heavy rules and sudden access to money and anything they want, they can get aggressive if denied or told they can’t have something.
We have seen an increase in domestic violence towards their wives and girlfriends, and sometimes both. Yet, the NFL suspended one player for an entire year for MJ possession, which is legal in a few states and only suspended another player for 3 games for hitting his wife, knocking her out and dragging, yes dragging her body out of an elevator.
It is ABOUT time the NFL recognizes the issues. Anger Management among sports players is rampant. Assisting athletes when partying gets out of hand or anger management causes them to lose focus or get arrested.
